Assessing the Delaware River Basin’s Vulnerability to the 1960s Drought of Record Using a Mid-Twentieth Century Reconstruction of Streamflows

Talk given in the Integrated Hydro-Terrestrial Modeling (IHTM) session at the inaugural WaterSciCon, co-hosted by AGU and CUAHSI. Co-authors: Andrew L. Hamilton and Patrick M. Reed.

I presented a probabilistic reconstruction of Delaware River Basin streamflows extending back to 1945, and used it with the Pywr-DRB water management model to evaluate how the basin’s modern operating policies would perform under a repeat of the 1960s drought of record.
